A warm room with two reading lamps, a long bed and a dark panelled headboard

34 m² above the ballroom windows

Three tall windows onto the river, a sitting corner by the middle one, and the two brass reading lamps that came out of the 1903 order book and have been rewired twice.

In the room

What is there, and what was taken out

A king bed, a writing desk against the inner wall, two armchairs, and a wardrobe built into the room itself. The bathroom was put in during the 1958 works and is tiled to the ceiling.

The minibar was taken out in 2011 and not replaced. There is a kettle, a safe, and a carafe that is filled from the spring tap at reception if you ask for it, which is what most of the regulars do.
