Four kinds of room on four levels
The house is tall and narrow, so rooms differ mostly by level, and the decoration hardly changes from one to the next.

34 m² · king · river front
Salonový pokoj
First floor, river front, with the three tall windows that match the ballroom windows directly below them.
A sitting corner by the middle window with two chairs and the reading lamps that every photograph of this hotel seems to end up including.
What is in a room
29 m² · king or twin · garden side
Zahradní pokoj
Garden side, second floor, with the window wall that was put in when the roof was rebuilt in 1974 and is the one unapologetically modern thing in the building.
Quieter than the river front, because the Teplá is louder at night than visitors expect of a river that size.
What is in a room
26 m² · twin · garden level
Lázenský pokoj
Four rooms on the garden level, next to the spa, each with the deep timber bathroom that the 1903 builder put in and nobody has had the nerve to replace.
They are the darkest rooms in the house and the ones regulars ask for by number.
What is in a room22 m² · double · under the mansard
Podkrovní
Six rooms in the mansard, with the sloped ceiling and the dormer that makes each one slightly the wrong shape.
The cheapest way to sleep in this house and, on a clear night, the best view of the wooded slope opposite.

The same everywhere
- Every room has the original doors, which means every room has a door that sticks in August.
- There are no televisions, but the reading room off reception has newspapers in four languages.
- The river front is louder at night than guests expect, and the garden side is much calmer.
- Two garden-level rooms have level access from the garden door and a step-free bathroom.
